Aimed at teens on the threshold of adulthood, the Personal Development Workshop is an empowerment course, which teaches essential personal and social
skills mistakenly overlooked as superfluous.
In a time when values are being put to the test, the workshop encourages students to establish personal standards, envision previously unforeseen
options as attainable, and begin implementing goal-setting techniques vital to success. The Personal Development Workshop sees itself as the perfect
compliment to academia and like traditional educational, seeks to prepare and equip young adults for the inevitable challenges to come.

The Personal Development Workshop grew out of the need to pass on life-changing information to an under served population.
As a young Black girl growing up in Compton, California Paula Bond had an urbanized, limited view of the world which gradually expanded when
an opportunity to move to Europe arose. After seven years of world travel Paula returned home armed with confidence and an awareness of the degree to
which she had developed. At the request of friends and parents of inner-city children, Paula began sharing the invaluable social and personal lessons,
proven to enhance the value of one's life.
The Personal Development Workshop has been taught in Middle and High Schools, Churches, Sororities,
Businesses and Corporations, Non-Profits, Private Social Organizations and to Individuals for over 15 years. |
