As the senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California for 23 years, "Bishop" as his congregants affectionately call him, possessed a burning desire to plant churches throughout Southern California as "offspring" of his ministry. The Inland Empire was one of the areas for which he had a great burden. After much prayer and contemplation, it became clear to him that the pastor of his next church plant should be Reverend Jody D. Moore (a Faithful Central senior staff member and the husband of Bishop's youngest daughter, Keniya). After prayer and discussions with his wife, Rev. Jody Moore whole-heartedly accepted the invitation, and as the saying goes, "the rest is history!"

Since that first Sunday in March of 2003, Praise Tabernacle or "Praise Tab" has quadrupled in number, growing from 35 people to over 150 in just two short years. Additionally, we humbly boast nearly 80 children and youth who engage in worship services tailored to their various age groups. God has provided us with a gifted and talented body and continues to expand our ministry to meet the needs of His people.

Praise Tab is not your typical church. We strive to provide a healthy balance between the traditional and the radical. On one hand, we are committed to maintaining a strong Bible based foundation. At the same time we provide a fresh approach to the worship experience. In addition, we seek to meet people where they are and help them deal with life's challenges through the practical application of God's Word. We have adopted the motto "Real church with real people, facing real issues, serving a real God" to convey one simple truth: while we are not perfect people, we do serve a perfect God and we measure our life based on His perfect standards. Oh, and by the way, we have FUN in the process!

We promote unity in the body through Christ.

Called to be an unconventional body of believers, Praise Tab respects tradition, but does not serve it. With a large Generation X population we are conservative only in our theology. ( See Our Beliefs Statement )

	Win the unsaved to Christ through various forms of outreach
	Equip the saints for the work of the ministry through solid biblical teaching
	Influence the Inland Empire for Christ on every front through our involvement as a body and as individuals.
