Where Can You Serve?
To promote and maintain a healthy, balanced body, we believe that there is a place for everyone to serve.
Please review the list below and ask God where He wants you to give your time. (Colossians 3:23)
Children/Youth
Volunteers assist the teacher with planned lessons/activities, while patiently encouraging and helping the children to learn at work and play.
Choir/Praise Team/Music
If you have the gift of worshipping in song either with your voice and/or an instrument, and aren't too shy to stand before an encouraging crowd,
then this may be the ministry for you.
Encouragers
Members build up the body at Praise Tab through compassionate prayer, loving patience and sharing God's word. All that's required is a heart for
cheering God's people on to good works.
Hospitality
Volunteers help to prepare, operate and close all special events at Praise Tabernacle, specifically in the area of decorations, food and clean up.
You needn't possess a culinary degree, just arms, legs and a warm smile.
Media/Sound
In addition to recording and burning state of the art C.D.'s of Praise Tab's worship services, members of this ministry operate all audio/visual
equipment, before, during, and after service and other events taking place on campus.
Some experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
Parking Lot to Pew
Got two good legs to stand on? Dedicated souls direct the flow of car and pedestrian traffic from the parking lot to the sanctuary and back to
the parking lot before, during and after service and all church events. A friendly demeanor is a plus.
Prayer/Intercession
As the Holy Spirit leads, participants in this ministry seek God's face and intercede on behalf of the body at PTBC, lost souls and the community
at large.
Ushers
These stout-hearted men and women maintain and assist with the order and flow of service. Humility and a servant's heart go a long way in
this ministry.
