| The 48th Assembly District has the highest unemployment rate of any assembly district in the greater Los Angeles area.
It also has the largest percentage of working poor families.
In order for the
District to overcome these disparate statistics, the state pension and investment funds can invest in the 48th Assembly
District to spur economic growth, create jobs, and still earn a solid return for taxpayers and pensioners. The state
treasury has a 61 billion-investment fund that can be utilized to revitalize our community. In the past, the District has
not pushed to get its fair share of investment dollars from the state pension and investment funds direct. The District
must receive its proportional share of investment dollars to help create jobs and economic wealth.
The state pension and investment funds can invest in the 48th Assembly District to spur economic growth, create jobs, and

Anthony Willoughby will propose a bill within the first 160 days in office that would give a tax break to companies to bring their call
centers home from India. The only requirement is that they must employ inner city residents and utilize state-of- the-art technology.
This will allow single parents to work from home creating a virtual call center environment. This plan increases jobs in the
community and generates tax revenues for the 48th district.

Reinvest in The America Act. In the first 100 days, Anthony Willoughby will propose a bill to give companies who have moved their call
centers overseas to relocate to the inner city in return for a tax break so long as they employ community residents. |

unemployed youth and former inmates. |
